Hello? Is there anyone there?
Yes, yes, I know that its been ages since the last newsletter, but times
have been a'changing in the lizard camp and we've all been terriably busy.
Plus I've had the usual postbag of readers mails to wade through (ha!).
So, without further ado, or at least with as little ado as possible,
here's the latest information on everyone's favourite band, ELECTRIC
AND THEN THERE WERE 4
Yes, the rumours are true. I can now confirm that we are now a 4 piece. As to which member has got off the Lizard bus... well, you'll have to check out the newly updated website, or indeed come and see us live. Suffice is to say that we wish the departing member well and thank him for his essential work in the formation of the band.
ALL WORK AND NO PLAY
The newly streamlined lizard have been working all eight of our collective bollocks off to regroup and readjust... hence the enforced radio silence. Having recently performed a low profile Rising Sun gig with the indupitable Shifter, we are now ready to come out of the woodshed and display ourselves on a regular basis once again. Details of the confirmed gigs can be found below.
PRINCE (CONSIDERABLY LESS THAN) CHARMING
The next gig will be this Friday at the hottest venue in Caversham (apart from my back garden)... The Prince of Wales pub on Prospect Street. Free entry and pub prices (well, it is a pub after all) AND you get to see two sets of lizard doings. What more could anyone possibly want??? Should be a hoot and if you have never been to the Prince, you really are missing out! You can always stagger down to Nue Valbonne's after we've finished too. Anyone who needs directions should get in touch.
LIZARD TURKY PUPPY
July 1st, all being well, should see the biggest lineup of unsigned talent since the Prince of Wales' gig on Friday. The Alleycat will play host to a fun-packed selection box of a night featuring the groovy bumblepuppy and the arch doods of cool, Turky, and our good selves. This will be an utterly unmissable event, so make the most of it while you can. More news on this one nearer the time.
Well that about wraps it up for the moment. Remember to come to the gigs!

you call the guy and hold the burning fuse up to the phone.
"Hear that?", you say. "That's dynamite, baby."
